What's the implications of allowing a 'Sun on Sunday'? It seems the Murdock empire's had a monopoly on British media for years with some damaging consequences for plurality in the U.K?. Despite the continuing Leverson Enquiry, have they really just got away with it? Have the people who were really responsible for the culture of megalomania at the 'News of the World' really been punished, or are we just naming and maiming foot soldiers. Are the current discussions revolving around the issue just superficial? And lastly, is it not true that New International Corp have simply just done enough to warrant a ban on them operating in the U.K in any media capacity, especially since we now also know that corruption was (and probably still is) endemic at The Sun?
